布団とベッドの違いは、引っ越しをする時に悩むポイントですよね。
社会人になり一人暮らしを始める、仕事の都合で引っ越しをする、同棲を始めるなど、さまざまな節目の場面でその悩みに直面します。
今日はそんな、布団とベッドの違いについて睡眠の質の観点から見ていきます。
これから寝具を買う予定のある方は参考にしてみてください。

気になる「ベッドで寝ている人の割合」ですが、アンケートによると
年代を問わず「布団34％：ベッド60％：その他6％」という結果になったそうです。
最も差があったのは40代で、「布団37％：ベッド55％：その他8％」、
最も差が少なかったのは20代で、「布団26％：ベッド70％：その他4％」になったそうです。
個人的な予想としては年配の60代以上の方は布団を使っていることが多いのかと思っていましたが、意外な結果でした。
ちなみにその他というのはソファで寝たり、床や畳に直接寝たりという人たちです。
宿泊先ではほとんどがベッド
旅館やホテルなど、様々な宿泊先があり、その利用用途は観光だったり仕事だったりと様々です。
ビジネスホテルの場合は9割以上が寝具にベッドを使用しており、和室がメインの旅館では、
布団で寝られるところも多いそうです。
ただ、最近の旅館ではベッドを設置している和室が増えてきているそう。
理由は、純粋な「和」ではなく、「和モダン」が好まれる傾向が高いことと、
外国人観光客の増加が大きな理由です。
日本以外で布団で寝ている文化の国は？
日本以外でも布団で寝る文化のある国はいくつかあります。
韓国では「オンドル」と呼ばれる薄い布団が床に敷かれていたり、
ベトナムの高山地域でもふかふかの布団をかぶって寝るそうです。

では、ベッドで寝るメリット、デメリットはどんなものがあるのでしょうか？

収納スペースがある場合は、ベッド下に物を収納することができ、部屋をスッキリと保つことができる。
4. 寝返りがしやすい
マットレスの反発がある分、布団よりもベッドの方が寝返りがしやすく、快適な睡眠を得ることができる。
